Tom runs Obsidian's marketing and our Sussex office.

 

Born in the West Country, he was educated and met his wife in Sussex, to where he has now returned.

 

He has worked continuously in marketing roles for 40 years. A specialist in B2B competiveness, he is also a highly experienced business mentor. He was a founder and now Chairs the Social Enterprise, Mentfor; and has started and run two other businesses. He has also set up and run the Business Leaders Forum, for mutual mentoring of those who run businesses; and a sector-specific online social network, Packaging People.

 

His approach is a blend of listening (to understand the client's real issues); strategic thinking (to make sure that whatever is being proposed will deliver the real objectives); and forensic diagnosis, so that whatever the Action Plan, it is cost-effective and on target. He is also very experienced in the use of digital media.
